The Bel-Air Manor: walkable set tour
Exhibition — new prompt, off the 8-test grid; verdicts by the AI panel and the People’s Vote
The prompt, verbatim
Build a walkable, first-person 3D recreation of a grand Bel-Air mansion interior in the spirit of a beloved early-90s family sitcom soundstage set — single self-contained HTML file, Three.js via CDN allowed, everything else (geometry, textures, materials) built in code. Original work only: no show names, logos, theme music, or real-person likenesses anywhere in the artifact. The space, as one continuous set you can walk through: - A grand two-story foyer: curved staircase with a white banister sweeping up to an open landing, light sage-green walls with white wainscoting and trim, a crystal chandelier, and an arched front door with a fanlight window. - A sunken living room off the foyer: contemporary early-90s furniture in peach, teal, and cream, bold abstract wall art, potted palms, a fireplace. - An adjacent open kitchen: center island, breakfast nook with a small table, era-correct appliances. - A conservatory/patio visible beyond glass doors with warm light spilling in. The bar is high on visuals: this should look like a lit television soundstage — warm key lighting, real-time shadow-mapped lamps and chandelier, soft ambient bounce, convincing materials. Amazing graphics, lighting, shadows — the works. Controls: click to start, WASD to walk, mouse to look (pointer lock), collision with walls and furniture, and you must be able to walk up the staircase to the landing. Include a small on-screen controls hint. It must work by simply opening the file in a browser. One shot: this single turn is the whole run.
Live artifact. Exactly what the model produced, sandboxed, no network.
